The following information can
be used as a guide in pricing an Attic Treasure® based on the
condition of the tag and the piece. For example, if you have a mint
piece with a near mint tag, its approximate value would be 90% of guide.
Remember, guides are just what they say they are, a "guide," and prices
can fluctuate from time to time and place to place. |

perfect tag without any flaws such as creases, bends, dents, a price
sticker, writing on the tag, smudged ink, chipping on the gold, and white
around the hole. |

Near
Mint |
A
minor flaw on the tag such as a tiny crease, slight bend, a small crack or
chipping on the gold foil which is only noticeable under close scrutiny. |

Excellent |
A
tag that has no more than two of the following defects: A
noticeable light crease, white on the edges around the holes, chipping on
the edge of the tag, major bends, and other noticeable flaws. |

Good |
A
tag that has some major defects such as several major creases,
writing on the tag, noticeable surface wear, scratches, and slight
discoloration. |

Poor |
A
tag that has a number of major defects such as major creases, surface
wear, scratches, chipping, major discoloration, a rip in the hole, and
other noticeable flaws. |

Mint |
Flawless
with no signs of wear and tear, being washed or cleaned, all accessories
in tact (i.e., ribbon, buttons, etc.), and no writing on the tush tag. |

Near
Mint |
A
minor flaw only noticeable under close scrutiny, with no signs of wear and
tear, being washed or cleaned, all accessories in tact, and no writing on
the tush tag. |

Excellent |
No
more than two minor flaws with slight indications of wear and tear, all
accessories in tact, and no writing on the tush tag. |

Good |
Some
slight defects with moderate indications of wear and tear all accessories
in tact. |

Major
